Romantic Pink Elegance | Wedding Inspiration
A magnificent 17th century villa, cosily perched on a hilltop overlooking the green Umbrian valleys, makes for a stunning backdrop for this wedding inspiration. An delicate blend of freshness, delicate pastel shades, and a touch of elegance, but not too lavish. The marble work gleams in the sunshine creating well defined volumes; the details of the internal decor and the elegance of the original, antique wallpaper took us back in time to the pomp and splendour of life in an authentic Italian country Villa. The gown is a sheer, white classic gown, with just a crystal band around the waist – a perfect compliment to the beautiful surroundings . An antique veranda with splendid marble effect frescoes and romantic decor from the 1800s are alone a wonderful work of art, gloriously illuminated by an enormous glass window that overlooks the Italian style gardens. Despite being elaborately set, the table maintains a quality of lightness thanks to the clear glass tableware and the soft, delicate flowers of white hydrangeas, ranunculi, tulips, English roses and carnations.
Amanda & Ben | Brandon, Vermont
How and where did you meet? Benjamin and I met in Philadelphia at the, now closed 941 Theatre, on New Year’s Eve 2008. It was love at first sight. I thought he was so handsome! We were friends for a few years, then started dating long-distance in 2011, i was in Vermont and he was in Philadelphia, I eventually moved to Philadelphia by the end of that summer.
What was the proposal like? Benjamin proposed on Christmas morning in our living room in Philadelphia. It was just the two of us and it was so personal and romantic I still can’t believe how surprised I was. It was so special!
