Jessica & Josh | Florida Wedding Inspiration
Since Josh proposed to Jessica in front of Cinderella's castle at the Magic Kingdom in Disneyworld (Jessica's first time visiting), the couple wanted to continue the Disney theme throughout their wedding. Everything about the day was magical, especially the venue, the Brevard Zoo, where Jessica and Josh exchanged vows while giraffe grazed in the background.

Even if you are not having your wedding on July 4th, the iconic, americana style and classic red, white, and blue color palette are perfect for any summer time celebration. It doesn't have to be a holiday for you to show your patriotic side or add a little sparkle to your photos with sparklers or fireworks. We love these simple ideas for using Independance Day stand-bys in your wedding.
THE FLAG
The American flag is such a strong symbol and resonates with all of us as a sign of our freedom to love, life, and happiness. If you or your fiance are active, or retired, military then incorporating the flat into your engagement or wedding portraits probably seems natural. But even if you do not have any direct ties with the military, the flag gives a whole new feeling to photos - it echoes the sensabilities of our wild, untamed, adventurous, and honorable American heritage.
A gorgeous alternative to a traditional flag, this ribbon and lace flag is rustic and feminine - and would be easy to DIY. The fun patriotic socks below are a whimsical way to add a little color to the groom and groomsmen attire.

SPARKLERS
Sparklers have been popular as bride and groom send-offs for years now and we've all tried our hand at replicating the cool sparkler word photos, but we are totally gushing about the most recent trend in sparkler photography. A fairy-tale like spiral of sparks encircling the couple, just as though your fairy godmother came along and waved her magic wand. Swoon!
We are totally in love with this idea as well - an artistic portrait using a sparkler as a single flame between the bride and groom's faces, illuminiating just enough to see their kiss. Like a secret, stolen moment in the dark where only the two of you exist.
These heart shaped sparklers are a cute version of the typical, stick sparklers and add a bit more romantic flair to your display. And the cute sentiment "Let The Sparks Fly" is a cheeky departure from the more typical "Let Love Sparkle" and "Let Love Shine" you most often see.
And of course there is the standard classic - FIREWORKS! Because, well what's more fun at the end of a night of celebrating than fireworks exploding in the sky?

Dusty Blue and Scarlet Wedding Inspiration
Red and blue is a classic color combination that never goes out of style. Give it a modern twist with a sensuous shade of scarlet red and dusty blue with soft gray accents. This bold and powerful duo fit just as easily in a rustic, barn theme as a modern, industrial setting. With July Fourth right around the corner we couldn't think of a better time to share these gorgeous images from our Summer/Fall 2016 issue of Vermont Bride magazine.
